As best I understand it the camp property was purchased in 1923 but actual camping began in 1924. For the 50th they had a contest to design the patch for the anniversary season. The winning design was, I believe, by Howie Holmes, Jr.of Troop 12 Framingham, an Eagle Scout and ( I also believe) chief of the Taunkacoo OA lodge. The first Resolute patch that was not round, it also caught attention for its multiple colors and fine detail.
